ON FIELD & SPECTATOR BEHAVIOUR

The referee(s) have the sole discretionary power to ask an offending player(s) or spectators to:
Ø Retire from the game (sent off)
Ø Retire to the end of the field or a position deemed to be safe by the referee (sin bin)
Ø Retire to the side of the field (cooling off period), with replacement allowed or to enforce the provisions of the appropriate section of the playing rules.

Only the Captain or Vice Captain are allowed to approach a referee during a game to receive clarification of a decision made, however they are to do so with respect
and courtesy at all times and are never to challenge the referee’s decision making process . The referee’s decision is final.
All spectators must act responsibly at all times.
Under no circumstance is a spectator to enter the field of play during a game or any period that play has stopped without the consent of the referee or match official.
Verbal abuse to players and/or officials is not permitted and the match referee or competition official can ask that person(s) to leave the sporting venue.
If that person refuses to leave, the police may be called and the game stopped.

the sport.

SEND OFF & SUSPENSION

The send off procedure is left to the discretion of the referee at all times and they may enforce any of the following procedures as they see fit.
Ø Retire to the side of the field (cooling off period), with replacement allowed
Ø Retire to the end of the field (sin bin) for a period of time, with no substitution allowed.
Ø Retire from the game (sent off), with no substitution allowed; Minimum one week automatic suspension will be applied, and maximum life expulsion can be enforced depending on the severity of the incident.
When a player has been sent off, it is the responsibility of the team captain to find out what penalty/suspension has been imposed to that player.
If a player plays while suspended the team will lose six (6) competition points and the player will still have to serve the suspension.
When a player is suspended, the suspension is applicable for all teams they are registered with at all FAST TOUCH Competitions, for the duration of the suspension.
(e.g.: If you are suspended in a men’s team on a Wed and you also play in a Mixed team Wed and a Men’s team Monday, you won't be able to play in any of those games until the time of your suspension has completed).

Once a player has had a penalty imposed there is no procedure to dispute the decision and the relevant penalty is considered final.

FAST TOUCH FOOTBALL has the right to deliver the following penalties or any penalties seen fit by management:
Ø 1 Week automatic suspension (min) for players sent off permanently during a game.

Ø 1 Week – 3 Year suspension for abuse, threat or intimidation of any competition official, referee, player or spectator.
Ø 6 Weeks – Life Ban for physical assault of any player or spectator. (Possible legal action could be taken)
